A Little Dose of Inspiration to Start Using A Teacher Puppet

If you’ve been around me and Transform Challenging Behavior for awhile then you know I’m a HUGE advocate of using a Teacher Puppet (also known as a Class Puppet).

A Teacher Puppet is a special puppet that only you as the teacher use.

In October we introduced the 21-Day Puppet Challenge Mini-Course to our TCB Teachers’ Club members and they are seeing some great results in a very short time.

If you need a little inspiration to start using your Teacher Puppet more here you go…

Using Felix, my puppet, outside of circle time has been a great success! The children love him and respond to him - better than they do to me. :) #win

- Peggy Schissel, Lead Teacher, Preschool, Head Start

Another win is getting the Preschool team on board about using the ‘yes, and’ tool and interested in using puppets.  I thought they would be shy or embarrassed and instead they were interested and eager! I’m excited to explore what’s next.

- Tamiko Gray, Supervisor, Child Care Center=

Children are more engaged in Circle Time more consistently. I feel more confident and comfortable using interactive storytelling and puppets in a variety of contexts for a variety of challenges.

- Lydia Dorynek, Lead Teacher, Preschool, Head Start
